REAL WEDDING: A LONDON RIVERSIDE WEDDING

I was delighted to be asked to plan Cathy and Malcolm’s London wedding at All Saints Church in Fulham followed by their reception at the Thames Rowing Club in Putney. Cathy is hugely experienced in managing corporate events, but she got in touch after she realised she’d struggle to manage her wedding as well as a demanding day job. Their day was full of smiles and love, both between Cathy and Malcolm and their lovely guests, many of whom had flown over from the USA especially for the occasion.

Here’s what Cathy had to say about the process of working with Caroline Sian Weddings & Events to plan her London riverside wedding:

“About 6 months before the big day my original caterer pulled out unexpectedly. I realised that this was just the tip of the iceberg of potential things that could go wrong and I decided that being relaxed on the day itself, and thus hiring a day of coordinator, was paramount.

​Caroline ensured that I had no worries on the day. She confidently managed all the supplier relationships, handling any tricky conversations and coordinated everyone perfectly so that everyone knew what needed to be done when. What made Caroline such a pleasure to work with was her pleasant personality, can-do attitude and meticulous notes. Nothing was too difficult and I am certain that I was so very relaxed on the day because I knew Caroline was on top of all the details.”
